Quinoa can be used in many various and diverse ways, sweet or savory, hot or cold and is so much more filling and healthier than oatmeal. With these tasty and quick recipes which the whole family will love, you can start and finish the day with a buzz!


First you need to make a batch of Quinoa to be able to whip it up into tasty dishes for every day of the week. For every one cup of dry quinoa, add 1 ¼ cup water plus a little salt and splash of olive oil into a microwave-safe glass dish with fitted cover. Cook for 12 minutes (approximately, depending on oven strength) and then let sit covered for five more minutes. You can then store this in the fridge for over a week and then just add, mix and enjoy!

This zesty recipe mixes quinoa and fresh herbs together, for a quick and healthy lunch option that you can make ahead of time, and eat throughout the week. Mix cooked quinoa, flat-leaf parsley leaves, mint leaves, snipped chives, cherry tomatoes, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, feta and throw in to a warm pitta bread.
